Any more questions? Contact us and we’ll be happy to help. We would love to hear from you.

Neutron tutors will help your child reach their potential and play a vital role in their progress. Our tutors will get to know your child and support in boosting their confidence and motivation for learning. Your child will receive support to overcome challenges and feedback to help take their knowledge forward. Here at Neutron tutors, our teachers use questioning to support your child to apply what they already know and then encourage them to explain their answers, allowing them to build their independent learning skills.

Apart from the traditional pen and paper and teaching methods we also have over 3,000 quizzes (that’s more than 30,000 questions!) covering 90% of the National Curriculum. Developed specifically for children from Key Stage 1 through to GCSE (including 11-Plus).

Quizzes are interactive and fun to play. They are based on a scientifically proven method of learning (called Active Recall). Active Recall embeds knowledge in the long-term memory more effectively than passive learning.

As a student of Neutron tutors you get all the following FREE:

Unlimited access to quizzes, games and more

Ongoing record of your quiz scores in your personal account

Quiz performance reports and downloadable PDFs

PDF versions of quizzes with answer sheets

Inclusion on weekly age-specific leader boards

At Neutron Tutors, tutors will follow the national curriculum and teach using the same academic methods your child learns at school to support them when they’re at school too!

Your child’s tutor will regularly give you a feedback report to give you more in-depth feedback about your child’s progress, answer any questions you may have, and create a development path for your child to help them reach their individual goals. And of course, you can always arrange a meeting with your child’s tutor to discuss your child’s progress.

We support children aged five onwards or key stages 1 to 3 to achieve their potential, whether for SATs Exam, 11+ or GCSE.

If for any reason, you are still not sure whether Neutron Tutors is the right place for your child, we suggest booking a free one-day trial session to see how Neutron Tutors work and how we can support your child first before going ahead.

Every child is unique in their way. Here at Neutron Tutors, tutors will get to know your child and their learning habits to help them build academic skills. If you have any queries about this, you can get in touch with our tutors or book a free one-day trial where they can advise you on what would work best for your child.

At Neutron Tutors, the child’s development is dependent on their current ability and not their age. We believe that every child has potential and can undertake challenges with encouragement and guidance provided by our tutors

Along with providing daily homework to do at home, at Neutron Tutors, each session lasts for 2 hours consisting of both Maths and English on:

At Neutron Tutors, we believe it is important to reward children and celebrate their littlest achievements. Your child can achieve various awards throughout, whether for recognising key milestones or studying advanced work for their age.

Although Neutron Tutors believe encouragement and support at home by parents is necessary, your child should complete their daily homework independently with only limited guidance, and this will increase academic skills they will have developed on the previous level.

Our prices range from £10 per hour depending on the child’s age and year of schooling as well whether your child is signed up for a one-to-one or group session.

Currently Neutron Tutors has two branches based in High Wycombe and London see below for contact details for both branches.
