At Neutron Tutors, we believe it is important to reward children and celebrate their littlest achievements. Your child can achieve various awards throughout, whether for recognising key milestones or studying advanced work for their age.
Although Neutron Tutors believe encouragement and support at home by parents is necessary, your child should complete their daily homework independently with only limited guidance, and this will increase academic skills they will have developed on the previous level.
Our prices range from £10 per hour depending on the child’s age and year of schooling as well whether your child is signed up for a one-to-one or group session.

11 plus is the final exam taken in key stage 2, year 6, before transitioning to a secondary school. This exam will determine which secondary school the child could attend.
The four subjects that are covered in the 11 plus are: English, Maths, Verbal Reasoning and Non-Verbal reasoning. The others test the intelligence of the student as opposed to academic capability.
Verbal reasoning tests the ability to read, understand and to think logically about the information given.
Non-verbal reasoning tests the ability to interpret visual information and recognise patterns, shapes and sequence and rules.
It is very important for students to prepare for the 11 plus, so they are aware of what the exam requires and consist of. Other studying for the exam at school private tutoring may also be of use to boost confidence.
